Classic hairstyles become the trendiest for Fall 2010, as a bevy of chignons and buns are going to be what’s hot for that season. The bun is an elegant hairstyle that is usually worn for formal affairs but for Fall season, it’s going to get a more casual style. Strands of hair can loosened from the bun should look really relaxed, especially when one is wearing jeans.

Retro haircuts and styles are also going to be very fashionable. The wavy, curly, Farah Fawcett hair is back, which should look great for everyday wear. Ponytails which are largely a summer hair style is still going to be pretty popular for Fall and Winter as the look brings a neat and clean style.

For one thing, eyeliners return. This time around they are deeper and darker. They are not exactly obvious but you can blend these eyeliners for a more even and cleaner look. For a lot of women, the heat and humidity of summer is most unkind to ones hair that styling seems to be an impossible thing to do. A lot of us leave the house with our hair tied up into a pony tail and this gets pretty tiring when you want to just wear your hair down. Three months in a ponytail would look really dull, so here are some summer hair care tips to help you get through summer with a shining, awesome crowning glory.

1. Conditioner is your best friend. This helps prevent hair from getting into a fritz. The conditioner also adds lustre and shine to your hair. It also makes it so much more manageable. You can use a rinse-out conditioner or a leave-on conditioner (which works so much better with limp hair).

2. Avoid curling irons, blowers and heated or electric styling tools this time of the year.

3. Get regular hair treatments such as hot oil and other procedures that would help with hair moisture. Because it’s unbearably hot and your hair is exposed to the sun most of the time, conditioning may not be as effective, so getting hair treatments will help.

4. Wear a bandanna or a hat once in a while. It not only keeps you cooler, it also makes your scalp and hair less susceptible to sun damage.

5. Experiment with different ways to tying your hair and not stick to just a simple ponytail. You can probably braid your hair once in a while.

6. Wash your hair and shampoo everytime you come out of the pool so the chemicals will not bake into your hair, leaving it dryer.
