Supermodel Tyra Banks really is quite the savvy business woman. Now that she is no longer in demand and as active as she was when she was a younger model, this beauty has repackaged herself into a TV host and producer and has been pretty much relevant, long after her modeling career has waned. And when her TV shows haven’t been doing so well now, considering that they’ve been on air for years and viewers are no longer that interested, she finds another way to reinvent herself, by taking on the internet and launching her own beauty and fashion site.
She says of this latest venture — “I have always been passionate about harnessing my experience and knowledge in the beauty and fashion business and creating an engine that would provide my audience with inspirational and instructional content to help them look and feel their best.”
Demand Media is backing her and has huge plans for a site that would be interactive, entertaining and most certainly geared towards women fashionista.
