If there’s one thing that I don’t love about fashion comebacks, it’s the return of the clogs. You know those big heeled shoes that look really heavy to wear. According to the NY Post though, this footwear style is back for the season and in fact, it’s Spring’s must-have.

At the fashion runway, models who strutted the latest collections from brand names like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and Jimmy Choo all wore clogs as footwear. Except of course, the designs are now updated, with the clunky-ness dialed down (thankfully!) but the whimsical or the sexy factor are all dialed up.

These latest clogs can be worn so effortlessly with skinny jeans and lovely spring dresses.

Susan Cernek, Glamour’s fashion editor says of the return of this style: “I think there’s a large population of us that feels connected to them through our experimental youth, but it feels like a new, fresh silhouette. We’ve seen Mary Janes for the past 10 years. And the same with strappy sandals. But clogs haven’t been in fashion for 10 years — and chances are, you don’t already have a pair in your closet.”
