When the legging jeans first came out, fashion naysayers said the trend wouldn’t last because the slim fit style is just too limiting. But it seems plenty of women are embracing this look more and more. The slim fit legging jeans is the best type of jeans to wear over boots and comfortable ballet flats or slip ons. Wearing it elongates the legs, and for a lot of women, this is a plus feature.

I am particularly fond of American Eagle’s Legging Jeans because of its stretchy material. I especially like the waist band, which isn’t elastic like other legging jeans, although it tugs the waist so nicely and effortlessly.

Another plus feature of a legging jeans is that it comes with back pockets and a button zipper, just like regular jeans.
