Hollywood star and fashionista, Sarah Jessica Parker, has coveted a new role that, I should say, is so tailor-made for her. She has just signed on to become the Creative Director of the fashion brand, Halston. According to reports from WWD, the actress “will likely focus on the secondary Heritage collection, which recently launched.”
This is one role for the actress that will hopefully not end when the credits roll. It has not yet been confirmed if she is going to take an executive capacity, but reports have it, she will definitely be very active with developing the brand.
Sarah Jessica Parker is more than qualified for the position as she is very much the fashion icon many girls look up to. She has actually been seen wearing Halston dresses on the set of her new Sex and the City (Part 2) movie and has been in negotiations for this post since September of last year.
The actress will be sharing the same creative capacity with designer Mario Schwab.
