2010 People’s Choice Awards Fashion Hit and Misses

The thing about People’s Choice is that it’s not so high profile like the Golden Globes or the Academy Awards. Celebrities can dress down. But it’s not so much as laid back as the MTV Awards either, where celebrities can dress in anything.

The other night’s award ceremonies, of the many red carpet ceremonies that will be rolling out in the next two months, showcased a bevy of styles and designs. Who went there dressed to impressed and who was a big fashion disappointment? I’ve rounded up some of the hits and misses from the 2010 People’s Choice Awards red carpet.

Glee’s Lea Michelle was smoking hot in her red Nuj Novakhett dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. The earrings are from House of Lavande.

Bride-to-be Carrie Underwood is wearing a strapless black overlay. The elaborate style is so gorgeous. The dress is by Christian Cota.

Taylor Swift was radiant and flawless in her strapless Jenny Packham dresss and Christian Louboutin shoes, plus a Tory Burch trench.

The ever so gorgeous Kate Walsh was less than stellar in her vintage sequined dress, bought off the rack in LA. Her make-up didn’t flatter her pretty face either.

Kaley Cuoco should hire a stylist fast. She looked old and dingy in her black dress and make-up. The dress reminded me of garbage bags and it really didn’t work for her.

Lisa Eidelstein was also a grand fashion miss. There must be a reason why she is wearing silver flats along with that unflattering dress.

I’m not sure if I love or hate Olivia Wilde’s dress. It doesn’t seem to be the right length. She is wearing Monica Lhullier.

Demi Lovato is looking like Tinkerbell in blue in this number. It suits her perfectly but it somehow feels like she’s wearing a costume.
