What to wear on Thanksgiving
Its getting to that time of year again, the biggest eating day of the year, just because your eating however does not mean you can not look nice, so don’t be a turkey and be sure to be well dressed and correctly for the upcoming family get together known as thanksgiving. Firstly, you can never go wrong with some accessories, to many can look cheap and tacky however, pearls go well for dinner and its not over the top, also maybe some earrings that you where most likely given as a present before to create that nice homely atmosphere.
A soft cashmere turtleneck is all the range at this time of the year, its soft, comfortable and stylish and there are many styles and colors to choose from, nothing to bright however stick to the more darker colors for the winter feel. For the guys, turtlenecks are also perfect, plus they can be made casual or dress up.
As for pants, if you are thinking of wearing a dress then nothing to short, something long and elegant past the knees, fancy is good and it can be topped of by a nice pair of flat shoes or even knee boots depending on the dress in question. Save the more exotic dresses and styles for the Christmas season, since thanksgiving is more quiet you might as well dress to match the occasion. Remember to wear a napkin, you do not want your outfit ruined by gravy or turkey remains been spilt!
