Leather fashion brand Louis Vuitton will be turning 150 this month and as a way of commemorating this, the North American branch of the leather brand known for its hard-frame luggage and fantastic bag designs and quality, will be donating a huge percentage of November’s sales to the American Red Cross. The company will be focusing sales on these four special bags for this charity event: Keepall, Noe, Alma, and Speedy.

Daniel Lalonde, President & CEO of Louis Vuitton North America says: “The Red Cross is committed to preventing and appeasing the sufferance of people weakened by instability and ever-growing de-humanization of our society. Louis Vuitton is honored to be aligned with such a significant and impactful organization.”

Keepall was originally part of LV’s truck collection and is now used popularly as a weekend tote bag. The Speedy is essentially the bag many people will recognize as LV, while the other two, the Noe and the Alma, are also classic LV’s.

Elsewhere, celebrations will include fashion collaborations among a pool of designers. The pieces they will create will be auction offed at Sotheby on Nov 2010.
