If there is one thing I can’t figure out just yet is that — why do “comfortable” shoes have to look so funny and uncomfortable? I mean, look at this one. It has one of those really weird shapes that others may say look better on some dwarf’s feet. But this PG Lite Alegria pair is apparently a godsend to those who have serious foot issues. This style is so comfortable, as the shoe is designed with the right arch support and pad, those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, for instance, will benefit from it so well. The pair is actually sold and come highly recommended from The Healthy Foot Store.

Alegria,  a Spanish word, means “happy” in English, by the way. And the shoe line has plenty of other designs, including open toe sandals and tongs for both men and women.

The shoes are made from materials that keep the feet dry and supported. It’s also made so lightweight, so that it is easier to walk around with it. You can wear this one all day long, without having to worry about straining your feet. It’s also very convenient during a walk in the rain or puddle.

PG Lite Alegria shoes are all featured with the following:

  • removable insole to accommodate custom orthotic
  • anatomically correct footbed
  • rocker outsole to take pressure off heel and metatarsals
  • extra depth for toe wiggle room
  • built-in arch support
  • The shoe designs come in very cute colors and prints…that you can probably overlook the fact that it does appear odd.

Price range between $95 to $110.
