For the coming Spring 2010 season, Louis Vuitton is targeting the teenage market with its latest collection, as showcased in the recent runaway show held at Paris’ Fashion Week. The collection had models wearing big sized wigs, silk bows and bags that are carried over the shoulders or strapped in the waist. These styles as so hip among young kids today.
According to Marc Jacobs, the fashion house’s lead designer, the inspiration for this have really been kids from the streets, “the global travelers”.
The fashion collection also featured bags made from plastic trash bag and wristbands made from camping gears and ropes normally used for boats.
The collections color palette featured a lot of faded denim, light green and light pink — lovely, young colors of spring.
Shoes were styled like moccasins with odd studs and hair.
