Gucci Launches EyeWeb

Gucci is the latest fashion brand to launch a new fashion website. While already a familiar name brand its Gucci Eyeweb, which caters only to specks, glasses and other eyewear, is actually a late bloomer in the online arena. But the site is quite interesting and very interactive, adding something new to online shopping these days.
The online store is a shopping site, alright, but it may also be used as a social marketing tool where users can actually upload and share their latest eyewear purchases while the other members can comment on it.
The site is divided into sections per city. And Gucci designer, Frida Gianni, says — “I designed these sunglasses and the accompanying social networking site with today’s digital generation in mind.”
