Halloween is only weeks away. Have you already an idea of what your costume is? Forget about dressing up as ghost, a vampire, a witch or the white lady. Forget dressing up as the nurse or the princess. Kiss decade old costume ideas goodbye and look for a more updated style. There are lots of characters to dress up as this year and we have the following suggestions:
Dress up as Kanye West at the recent VMA Awards…
In the last month, Kanye West has become the most controversial and most talked about celebrity, thanks to his unforgettable spiel at the VMA Awards. What you need to dress up as Kanye at the VMA:
- dark shades
- ripped jeans
- black leather top
- gold jewelry
- leather belt
- leather bracelet
- a bottle of alcohol
If you can do the hair and the tattoos the night of the Halloween party, then so much the better.
Dress up as the Single Ladies in Beyonce’s Video…
I’m pretty sure this song is going to be played a lot at the parties, you might as well dress the part and dance the part. The costume works perfectly if you’re going together with your girlfriends. But if you have the a guy with you and he is willing to dress the part? So much the better! All you need to dress up in this costume are

- nude stockings
- black heels
- black wide belt
- the independent woman attitude.
Then again, this look is also a lot similar to the Playboy bunny or the girls from that Simply Irresistible video. It’s a classic!
