I wonder what Lady Gaga is going to go as this Halloween season? With her penchant for wearing outrageous outfit all the time, do you think she has more to show and surprise people come Halloween? She’s probably one of the very few stars who can get away in public looking really normal in plain clothes, as we have never really seen what she looks like that way. And whether we have liked or disliked the clothes she wears, one thing is certain, Lady Gaga is a fashion forward princess, and her style is very much her own. Because of this the Accessories Council Excellence Awards (ACE) from New York is giving the pop singer their Stylemaker Award, in acknowledgement of her very individualistic efforts.
The award will be presented by Marc Jacobs, one of Lady Gaga’s friends and preferred designers.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Cipriani and we can’t wait to see what she’s going to wear to receive this award.

Nichole Richie, fashion designer, is kicking off 2010 with the latest addition to her House of Harlow brand — the shoe collection:
Debuting along with her new clothing line, Winter Kate, is the 1960’s inspired accessories and footwear line. These will first be exclusively sold in the UK come January of next year.
In photo is one of the brand’s shoe designs, a whipstitched diamond pattern peep-toe platforms. The shoe collection will also include flats, heels and moccasin boots.
The pop superstar, who rose to fame via a TV series with then best friend, Paris Hilton, has been very busy developing her fashion brand since three or four years ago. Now a busy wife and mother of two kids, she is not stopping and is expanding her designs even more. On top of this, Nichole Richie also has a maternity clothes line.

It was Vera Wang who designed the beautiful wedding dress, Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka wore for her wedding. The breathtaking masterpiece was inspired from Princess Grace Kelly’s bridal gown, when she married Princess Rainier in 1956. The gown is definitely regal, majestic, romantic and timeless.
In an interview, Vera Wang describes what the bride wanted her dress to be. “For Ivanka’s wedding, she very definitely wanted to be covered. It hearkened back to another time which is incredibly romantic.”
The dress was adorned with hand-appliquéd lace details and the designer said the bride was very much hands-on.

Ivanka married Jared Corey Kushner, son of American businessman Charles Kushner who is into real estate and owns The New York Observer publication. The two were married before 500 guests at one of Trump’s properties.

Celebrity designing twins, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, are poised to launch yet another collection in February of next year. The duo’s latest line, Olsenboye, will feature clothes for the teen market — tops, denims, bottoms, shoes and even handbags. The line will be sold exclusively at JC Penney. In fact, the clothes will go on special sale this November at JC Penney’s online store.
The clothes for this collection will fall under the affordable price range between $20-$50 — so very affordable and trendy.

CJ by Cookie Johnson Jeans is now featured on the Oprah show as the latest media giant’s favorite. Oprah Winfrey calls this “The perfect jeans for real women with real booties.” She says she was worn it three days straight and as any big-bootied woman knows, shopping for jeans require more work. There’s a lot of fitting, trial and error that goes with it.
So, thank God for this jeans, which comes from the design idea of Cookie Johnson, wife of legendary basketball player, Magic Johnson. She has a degree in retailing at the Michigan State University and has partnered with Michael Glasser, who is of course, the man behind Seven For All Mankind, a most fashion forward and preferred jeans line by women.
Says Cookie: ”I had a hard time finding a jean to fit me. Every time I [would] go to the stores, I put the jeans on and I couldn’t get them past my thighs. I thought: ‘I’m in good shape. I work out. I eat healthy. Why can’t I find a jean to fit me?’ My partner, Michael Glasser, is an expert at fabrics, and he searched all over and found these wonderful fabrics from Europe that had great stretch to them but were so comfortable at the same time.”
As an added touch, these jeans have silk on the waistband, making it more presentable and stylish.
CJ Jeans come in many different styles and colors and is available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales for sizes 2-18 and between $140 to $200.

FIDM Museum & Galleries commemorates three decades of fashion design courtesy of socialite and style icon Betsy Bloomingdale in its latest exhibition, “High Style: Betsy Bloomingdale and the Haute Couture.” The collection features a stunning array of designer ensembles, from a feathered silk dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel to a lovely Christian Dior gown with hand-dyed silk organza petals.
A 2009 inductee into the Best Dressed Hall of Fame, Bloomingdale is the widow of Bloomingdale’s department store heir, Alfred S. Bloomingdale. A native of Beverly Hills, she is an internationally known socialite whose heralded collection of haute couture pieces has earned her universal respect in the fashion design industry. A friend of Ronald and Nancy Reagan, Bloomingdale was an honored guest at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for a fashion exhibition entitled “Nancy Reagan: A First Lady’s Style.” She was also selected to honor well-known fashion designer James Galanos with the Rodeo Drive Style Award in 2007.

This convenience affords shoppers huge cut backs and savings in time and money.
According to the store’s chief merchant:
“Customers have long trusted Walmart to provide the best values on health and beauty brands in our stores, and now customers can also access these savings online at Walmart.com with the convenience of home delivery. By offering savings on our customers’ favorite health and beauty items online and in our stores, we can better help our customers shop the way they want.”
Home shipping will only cost the consumer about .97 cents. This service was not previously made available considering Walmart stores are everywhere. But perhaps this is the company’s way of widening their reach (and therefore, profits).
Additionally, consumers may also request free samples of health and beauty products which may be possible via www.walmart.com/samples.
