Fashion and Design World Today

Fashion Week officially started last September 10th. The runways are once again busy with activities featuring this season’s most revered styles. For this year, the following talented designers are to watch for:

Alexander Wang – Only 25 years old, this designer is famous for his sexy, edgy and grungy collections. Many retail stores like Forever21 and Topshop copy his designs. With a flourishing career that went full blast since 2007, Alexander Wang has many years of styles and trends ahead of him.

Rodarte – Headed by Laura and Kate Mulleavy, a wonderful sister act, Rodarte is focused on very cute and whimsical pieces with a little edge, but still very wearable. This gorgeous collaboration will soon expand to more affordable pieces which will be made available in Target. Rodarte is the sister’s mother’s maiden name.

Matthew Williamson – One of UK’s celebrated designers, celebrities like Kate Perry and Keira Knightly are just some of his clients. Williamson’s design are so refreshing. He loves crazy prints and colors and isn’t afraid to go out of the box with it. He has recently released a collection at UK’s H & M in which shoppers and fashionistas went crazy for.
