President Obama and the First Lady, Michelle, leads this year’s annual Best Dressed List by Vanity Fair.

The list is to come out in their monumental September issue, set to become a double cover with both icons Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett on it.

The list also includes Anne Hathaway, Penelope Cruz, Renee Zellwegger (who is under the Hall of Fame Category), Carla Bruni (France’s First Lady) Brad Pitt, Daniel Craig and Tory Burch, among others.

I think I couldn’t disagree with their choices. I am especially thrilled for the First Lady, who, when it came to fashion features, really was out of nowhere. Her sense of style is forever sassy and smart. She always know how to look so put together. She knows how to play around with colors, which says a lot about her personality, I guess. Michelle Obama has a variety of styles to her in that she wears most anything fashionable — suits, skirt, dresses, pants, cutoffs. So it’s always exciting for the world of fashion to keep an eye on what she’s going to wear next.

I am also thrilled that Anne Hathaway is included in the list. I have been no fan of hers until last year, when all of a sudden, her career catapulted into something relevant. Her taste in fashion is always on the classic, chic side. And because of her very pale, very white skin, she would always look good in red.

You can check for the complete list on this Vanity Fair website page, along with some lovely pictures.
