Boyfriend Style

The Boyfriend look is back, with only a few minor differences from previous incarnations.  It’s  a look that screams comfort and it’s a blissfully easy look to pull off.

It’s a slouchier jean, a more-forgiving alternative to the super-slim styles favored by tweens and young skinny customers; or a chunky knit cardigan or sweater vest, rather than the prim-and-proper ’50s-style twin set.

So raid your boyfriends (or husband’s) closet for suit jackets and jeans. Or if you are among the single crowd, go bargain hunting.

The aim is looser fitting clothing, and  a nice large step away from the pencil-thin pants.
