Robin Williams to Play Susan Boyle?

There are somethings that you just don’t want to believe are true.
Yet, as sick as it is sometimes it seems that people are just that ridiculous.
The gossip rag Page 6 has said:
ROBIN Williams might dig up his “Mrs. Doubtfire” drag and play Susan Boyle in a movie about the Scottish spinster who became a sensation on “Britain’s Got Talent.” “I’ve been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie,” Williams told Britain’s Telegraph. “I think she’s incredible.” In 1993′s “Mrs. Doubtfire,” Williams played a divorced dad who loses custody of his kids and disguises himself as a Scottish housekeeper so he can see them again. He’s been doing impressions of Boyle and singing “I Dreamed a Dream” in a thick Scottish accent to his friends.
If they were trying to be insulting, they’ve accomplished the mission. If this is just a case of being that incredibly thick headed of producers, or intentional it accomplishes the same exact thing.
This is disheartening and it seems that however talented one may truly be, the only thing that will remain as important is one’s looks. Susan Boyle has been verbally insulted so many times since her fabulous appear on the show Britians Got Talent, and she’s mangaged to handle it all better than most would. Yet, it seems that her fame and gorgeous voice remains overshadowed because she doesn’t look like all the present day celebs.
One can’t help but notice that another contestant from the same show, that was another surprisingly amazing voice hasn’t dealt with any of the things Susan has. He sang an amazing opera rendition, yet he hasn’t received so much as a flutter of the eyes.
