New (And a Little Questionable) Trend

Kids at times are accused of having a distinct lack of taste, especially when they are at the helm of a new and rather questionable trend.
Now, granted I had some interesting takes on what was ‘cool’ when I was in school myself. Most of which had me looking like I got dressed using some assortment of crazed fun house mirrors. It was basically Elvira meets Pennywise (my dyed hair color of choice was the same unfortunate red).
It’s seeming at least around my area, that the newest and most completely questionable and odd have to have is : Purple Uggs.
This trend is coming as it usually does with the fabulously over dramatic breakdowns from both parents and grown women when they aren’t found in any shop around here.
While there is a bit of sense with the boots coming into vogue around here (my state gets incredibly cold, and it’s shaping up to be even colder than normal), it’s still no excuse.
Uggs, while I am sure they are as comfy as they look are on the same list as Crocs when it comes to earning a general fashion snub. The only real difference is Uggs can serve an actual and useful purpose where it’s actually cold.
Maybe it’s just me,but the purple Uggs are frightening. Is this something just around here, or has it gotten further than I may be afraid to think about?
