While both the Chelsea district and Manhattan is known for it’s melting pot of people and fashion, this once a year extravaganza is for the dogs, literally.  This also proves why this blogger is personally in love with the district itself (seriously, it does get quirkier that this).

Nearly 2,000 makers of doggie apparel – everything from raingear to formal attire – turned out for the annual pet-palooza at the Metropolitan Center on W. 18th St.

To be honest, there was a bit of surprise that there were over 2,000 designers of fashion aimed at man’s best (and now, best dressed) friend.  Either way, the designs are fab, and there are some that one could find themselves being quite jealous of a four legged high-end friend.
