Cover Girl’s Newest Image Model is Dania Ramirez
After Queen Latifah and Ellen DeGeneres, Daria Ramirez has just signed to become Cover Girl’s latest face and spokesperson. She is most familiar to those following the series, Heroes, where she plays the role of Maya.
Dania, born in the Dominican Republic, has always dreamed of becoming a Cover Girl.
Of her new role as the cosmetic company’s spokesperson, the actress said: “I’m bringing my story, a story of struggle and hard work. Not speaking the language [when I got to America] and trying to figure out my definition of beauty, you learn to recognize the beauty in all of us. It takes a strong person to get where I’ve got.”
Her print and television ads will start running in January of 2010.
