Studio Edge, a new online jewellery boutique has launched, featuring new talent in the jewellery design industry and their collections, which are exclusive to the site.
Studio Edge is born of a desire to support burgeoning jewellery talent, to showcase up-and-coming designers and their products and to offer those with a passion for jewellery access to exclusive lines not available anywhere else, either on the high street or online.
The site launches featuring three designers. Noreen Mirza launched her very first collection in 2005 and in 2007 won recognition for her work, nominated as Young Achiever of the Year at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards. Her first collection for Studio Edge demonstrates an emphasis on delicate silver pieces and in particular on cubic zirconia pendants and pearls. Brides looking for pearl bridesmaid jewellery need look no further than Noreen’s collection of beautiful pearl pieces, in a variety of colors and designs.
Thai-born Art developed his passion for jewellery early in life and studied jewellery design at Silakaporn University – Thailand’s leading art and design institution. His first extensive collection for Studio Edge is eclectic, representing inspiration from diverse influences. Art often mixes pearls with gemstones and semi-precious jewels, as well as featuring diamond pieces.
In comparison, Jean Tiquet’s capsule collection has bold, contemporary and simplistic fluid lines, focusing heavily on white gold and diamonds. Jean’s passion for diamonds stems from their distinctiveness: “Their purity and diversity in colour compliments the reflective properties of metal, bringing a sense of individuality to every piece.”
These exclusive designs will sit alongside accessorising hints and tips, industry news and forward trends – sharing real insider knowledge with those with a passion for jewellery. The designers will be joined on the site by guest contributors from the jewellery industry, sharing their vast knowledge of jewellery – anything and everything from events in the industry and insights into future jewellery trends, through to how best to care for your most precious pieces.
Studio Edge is perfect for those with an aspirational sense of personal style. It provides the opportunity of owning a limited edition piece, that won’t be seen anywhere else on the high street, but with prices starting at £43, accessorising with unique style doesn’t have to break the bank.
