Olsen Twins now Fashion Council Members
At a very early age, this twin sister-act was already a super-celebrity in their own right. By nine or ten years old, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have slowly built a brand for themselves, designing accessories and clothes that regular people their age try to wear and emulate. Now that they are in their mid-20’s, their brand is a multi-billion enterprise. And its success mostly has to do with the sisters’ distinct style and fashion sense…
So fashion forward are they that they used to (still are) land on pages of magazine showing or wearing their very own creation and designs. This thus entitles them, among other reasons, to membership at the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

The fashion forward sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America, along with some other big name designers.
Alexander Wang, Jason Wu and Maria Pinto are also new members of the CFDA, British Vogue reports. The Olsen twins and designers will be welcomed with an intimate dinner at Manhattan’s Four Seasons restaurant on October 21.
The CFDA President is currently renowned fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.
