Wigs.com is excited and proud to announce the Raquel Welch 2009 Wig Collection that will have wig-wearers Ooh-ing and Aah-ing. Common concerns regarding wigs include their fit, comfort level, or that it is recognizable when someone is wearing a wig. Noted for her dedication to providing women with innovative quality and style, Raquel Welch has developed a new line that promises to resolve the qualms wig-wearers face with many wigs on the market today.

This begs the question, what makes these wigs so special? With styles ranging from short to long, modern to timeless, Raquel Welch’s new collection features seven new hairstyles, two new cap constructions, 19 salon-inspired colors and a revolutionary new fiber that brings the collection to the forefront of wig construction.

The collection is constructed with improved Memory Cap II construction, promising a lightweight fit that conforms to the shape of the wearer’s head, so each piece feels custom-made. Though some wigs are made with constricting wig caps, Raquel’s new collection features a capless construction with stretch lace said to offer more light and breezy wear. The cutting-edge Memory Cap II is available in six new styles named Tres Chic, Divine, Winner, Always, Embrace and Enchant.

Wigs also receive skepticism regarding their versatility; most wigs on the market cannot be styled with curling irons, flat irons and the like as they are manufactured with synthetic fibers that melt with heat application. Raquel Welch aspires to resolve that problem with her Tru2Life heat-friendly fiber, another feature that aims to ‘wow’ wig-wearers.

The new collection can be styled with up to 350 degrees of heat, whether curled or straightened, and allows wearers a wider range of styling options. The technologically advanced fibers are integrated into three of the new Raquel Welch wigs appropriately titled Always, Embrace and Enchant.
