Trend Alert: Black Stockings
One thing noticeable about most collections for Fall 2009 is the absence of pants and the prominence of black stockings or black tights. Yep, this fashion statement is back and will be seen for much of the last quarter of the year. Last seen sometime in the mid-90’s, black stockings/tights are making a fashion comeback.
I guess the look is fine when you live in a cold area like London or the MidWest in the USA. But perhaps for sunny LA or the tropical weathers of Asia, we recommend you girls stay away from those thick materials.
Black stockings gives the illusion of length and slimness. If you want to appear with longer legs this should do the trick. Pair this with ankle boots for a really chic look.
