Paulina Porizkova was fired from  America’s Next Top Model! The former Model let the cat out of the bag on Tuesday night on CBS’ The Late Late Show! According to Paulina was fired by `America’s Next Top Model’ on her birthday. That is cold! I know the economy is bad but to get a pink slip on your birthday is a bit heartless. Man, I wonder who made this call. The worst part about this is that she was fired via telephone.

Millionaire Ashley Olsen is focusing on fashion design instead of acting. Ashley and her sister Mary-Kate are launching a menswear line this fall. The new men’s line will be called The Row. Both Mary-Kate and Ashley are in charge of the label. While her twin sis  Mary-Kate is acting, Ashely will  focusing her efforts on the fashion line. I almost forgot, Ashely is featured in V Man magazine. The pictures are buzz worthy.

LVMH acquires Edun

LVMH also know as Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton are making a move towards Edun. The ecological and ethical fashion company was found by Bono and his wife. Edun sells T-shirts and dresses in organic cotton made in countries such as India, Peru, Uganda, Kenya and Lesotho. Edun is a great company because they work with disenfranchised African citizens, teaching them to grow cotton, sew, and participate in the textile business. This is a great move for LVMH. I hope they hope to the principle and message of Edun clothing line. I also hope that someone make a company like Edun in the US! Hopefully it will help the economy here too.
