The Golden Globes

Hello all my designlookout.com readers, Today I am going to talk about the ultra fab looks of the Golden globes. I know that I am a bit late on the Fashion for the globes but some much is going on these days. The Oscars are around the corner, the president inauguration (and Michelle’s fashion choice) is last than a week again, and Rio de Janeiro is having fashion week. It is a busy week. So pardon my lateness and enjoy my fashion choices.

1.    “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria shows off her hourglass figure in this crimson Reem Acra gown coupled with a chignon. A chignon is a popular type of bun style. A+ for Eva with this form fitting choice.

2.    Melissa George looked sleek and stylish in this Armani gown. Many fashion gurus do not agree with me but I though it add a dash of uniqueness with the vinyl bodice. I love this retro approach to eveningwear.

3.    Kate Winslet, winner for best actress in Revolutionary Road, look magnificent in this strapless ebony Yves Saint Laurent dress. This ode to Old Hollywood was music to my ears.

4.    Bravo Maggie Gyllenhaal for this fashion risk. Is defiantly was not a miss. The blue leopard print Lavin asymmetrical dress was pure genius. Two thumbs up for Maggie Gyllenhaal.

5.    Taraji P. Henson, a star in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Henson played the role of Queenie, Benjamin’s mother in the movie. Many are hearing Oscar buzz for her role in the movie. I hope Taraji will win. Ms. Henson wore a gorgeous J. Mendel pattern dress.
