Is David Beckham all that good? Well, regardless, he is really in demand as far as product endorsement by big names in the celebrity world. He has been so big that he was forced to give up one of the companies he is endorsing, Pepsi Cola, to make way for separate product endorsement commitments in the business world.
One would have to wonder, why Pepsi? Pepsi is not a cheapskate company and in fact tied him up with a multi-million dollar deal? Could Vodafone and Armani given him more cash incentives over the beverage giant? One would never know. But if you were in his shoes it was surely a deal that was not easy to give up.
The LA Galaxy star has been the face of the brand for well over 10 years, and has thrilled his fans by dressing up as a gladiator, cowboy and surfer for the company’s various advertising campaigns.

Eco-friendly gift wrapping ideas are all over the web these days, owing to the fact that Christmas has been soliciting good ideas on how to send that gift in the best eco-friendly wrapping today. But it is this Japanese style of gift wrapping a gift that is really interesting considering the cloth used are not only wonderfully decorative, they can be used in other ways as well outside re-using them to store gifts you may be giving out yourself.
Furoshiki or Japanese Eco-friendly gift wrapping is an alternative way of wrapping gifts to which keenly decorative cloths are used to wrap gifts. So instead of tearing apart the usual paper-based gift wrappers, the Furoshiki way allows people to make use of decorative clothing materials to be used in wrapping their gifts for family members or friends.

Fashion will always have its origins. Apparently the best ideas come from new minds of the fashion-conscious teens we have today. Showcasing their ideas comes in different forms but nothing comes better than a good old fashion show to show what is in store for most wardrobe looking specialists we have today.
French Fashion University Esmod, the internationally acclaimed institution, you are bound to get a good glimpse of these new potential fashion lines from the shows that they organize, the 3rd one of which recently took place at the University’s campus in Dubai Academic city.
Keeping up with the fashion timeline, students performed a modern collection. The patterns were playful, and for lack of a better word, fashionable. Sharp angles and creative green and red details adorned multi cultured designs, while another displayed a festive mix of orange, red and white. Bust lines were lowered and the long-sleeves of the previous collections disappeared and were replaced with spaghetti straps.

Do you want to be fashionable yet economical? Well here is a good way to go about it. Old outfits, wardrobes and clothes will always stay in fashion as long as you want them to be. Remember, when you dress up, nothing matters if it fits you to a T. So what do you do especially in these times of crisis where everyone wants to save each penny that they can?
The best thing you can do is take out those old outfits and find some great accessories to pair them with. For most people, that is what makes their fashion statement stand out above the rest. You don’t have to buy new clothes to stay in step with fashion. You just have to be creative and imaginative. Look beyond your current wardrobe and find cheaper way to enhance them. With that in mind, accessorizing is the best way to go.
Two of the six major accessories categories covered in the report are experiencing bullish growth: bags and ties/other neckwear. Their strong progress is largely responsible for the projected resiliency of the market through the foreseeable future. Packaged Facts forecasts that the overall fashion accessories market will reach $20 billion by the end of 2012, expanding almost 24% between 2008 and 2012.

One thing about making the big jump from common to personalized fashion is to magnify the chinks as far as the type of fashion line that is being catered. In the case of Dame Helen Miren, spotting the fact that some designers are overlooking the need of sleeved dresses for older women has made her decide to start her own fashion line with Marks & Spencer if everything falls true and shows a promising market.
These days, when you talk about fashion, it is mostly geared at the yuppies and the middle class. But lest we be reminded, the mature and older women look up to fashion as well and though they have their share of signature wardrobe designers, this glaring observation by Dame Helen could actually spark some attention especially for fashionable women who take pride in how they look regardless of how old they are.
She said: “There are no dresses with sleeves – we need to bring back the sleeve: fine, see-through ones, three-quarter length or long – there are many wonderful things you can do with sleeves.”

Wearing glasses is something that many require and then again don’t. But the bottom-line of it all is that it is a fashion statement in its own right. Design is everything although some people who really wear them need it for better eyesight. In the end it is all about what materials are used to create them and Nanyang Optical of Singapore just revealed that the use of recycled materials is the main concept of their new line of optical eyewear solutions.
Linkskin glasses are manufactured to be RoHS- compliant, using recycled materials with no lead, mercury, cadmium or soldering. Flexis rimless glasses consist of recycled steel and polymer, also without the use of soldering and the Urban collection avoids soldering too.
