Beyonce Following Michael Jackson Fashion

Beyonce is starting something new and it is bound to sink in to the fashion world as most people look towards celebrities for new add-ons as far as their overall wardrobe is concerned.

For this favorite diva, Beyonce is said to be taking the cue from the 80’s fashion trend that Michael Jackson had admonished with his signature white gloves during the times of his hit album “Thriller”

As far as Beyonce is concerned, it has now been transformed into the roboglove, the gling or Anti-Rihanna Death Grip which is actually made from Titanium. So if there would be contests or even perhaps simple parties where people want to be different, don’t be surprised if they do follow the Beyonce’ fashion gimmick.

People are still looking for the new fashion trends in the market today and with the highlighting of the Spring Collection of these six reputable Canadian designers, it is not really surprising.

Among the notable fashion designers on hand were:

1. Dace Moors

Designer Elaine Kim Turns to other Fashion Clothes Distribution

The economic pinch has affected everyone and this includes the fashion industry. While we can check out the latest fashion trends via shops and retail distributors, it simply isn’t enough.

You don’t have to tell that to Elaine Kim, a designer that loves to design clothes but apparently does not want them all to go to waste. So if the retailers cannot sell them for her, she may as well do something about it; open up her studio so that fashionistas can actually check out her line of clothes for sale.

As she would at a trunk show, she’ll charge full retail price for the current collection, with prices ranging from a couple of hundred dollars for a top to more than $700 for a coat. Leftovers from previous collections will be priced at 50% off retail.

“Plus Sizes” for the BIG Women Fashionistas

One thing about fashion, some believe you have to be fit to enjoy it. Clothes that come out from signature designers are certainly spread all throughout the world but some have the issue of available sizes to appreciate them. Apparently not all fashion designers cater to the general fashionista as they limit their designs to the fit and able consumer to look good.

Look a little bit farther and you may discover the stores that cater to plus sizes. Obesity or being overweight should not be a problem for most people. In fact, there are designed clothes for the “big” people that may certainly make other people envious of them.

Many of them are in New Zealand. You may be surprised to find good clothing and fashion lines available in the area. The list of fashion stores include:

1. Hamilton East
2. The Carpenters Daughter
3. Precious Vessel
4. Azzura
5. K & K Fashion
6. Kerklaan

Mainstream stores are stocking sizes up to 18 or 20. And some designers, such as Morrinsville’s Annah Stretton, have a separate label catering to bigger babes. Stretton’s Garb range, stocked in her flagship stores, goes from size 14 to 24. Another New Zealand label with a plus-size line is High Society’s Chocolat range, from size 10 to 22.

James Jeans aims to Color it Greener

James Jeans already has a good line of jeans and with an eco-friendly twist attached to it. But apparently, Seun Lim is far from satisfied and knows they can do better.

Already manufacturing jeans via organic denim and dyes, Lim thinks that they can raise it up a notch by applying more awareness when it comes enhancing the jean colors. And she has been working with an organic-certified wash-and-dye facility in Los Angeles that specializes in alternative processes.

“This season, we are trying to focus a bit more on the process of washes,” said Lim. “I wanted to step up and offer something different.”
