As with every awards tradition, the Emmy Awards this year rolled out the red carpet where people all over the world saw the stars from television shining so brightly in their best designer gowns. Here are some of the best dressed and worst dress celebrities at the 62nd Emmy Awards….
Anna Paquin, the star of True Blood, dazzled everyone with her Alexander McQueen gown. It is this black dress that is adorned with an shoulder and neck piece. The design is very regal and innovative and also very contemporary. The actress accessorizes with simple but complimenting bracelet and of course, her new wedding ring.
Project Runway host, Heidi Klum, is always partial to short dresses even for red carpet events. Here, she wears a fabulous black dress and looks really sexy with her hair pulled back up, showing off her gorgeous neck with the lovely accessory. She is simply stunning.
I’m quite ambivalent with Mad Men’s January Jones’ Atelier Versace blue strapless dress. While it complimented her complexion and hair, the texture of it reminded me of fish shells that she almost looked like a mermaid to me. And I don’t know if that’s bad or good.
Lauren Graham, who stars in Parenthood, was a major flop in this dress. It’s as if it wasn’t finish as the cut doesn’t fit her body well. She also wore Gladiator heels with this, which actually doesn’t work.
And last but not least — Lea Michele and Saray Hyland look really elegant wearing their strapless gowns. Lea has Oscar de la Renta while Sarah is wearing Pamela Roland. This style seems to be the trend for the night.

Fall season 2010 brings another fashion trend that didn’t exactly fly the last time it became “hot” and current. I’m talking about clear accessories, which to my knowledge, did not last long as the style was too limiting. Wearing it the wrong way, and the look becomes really tacky or cheap.
But clear accessories are making a comeback and perhaps these accessories will fare better than the last as they come in updated styles which I actually like.
Clear accessories like this necklace, look great with dark and drabby fall fashion wardrobe as it reflects color and sparkle.
In white or clear, it looks really elegant, sophisticated and modern.
Other clear accessories you can wear include shades or sunglasses, bangles, a nice bejeweled sandals and a pretty pair of ballerina flat shoes.

Who says you can’t wear shorts for the fall or winter season? Fashion knows no limitation so wearing shorts is still going to cut it. Some actually wear this over leggings, which looks fine, too. But my favorite kind of fall fashion shorts are those with plaid designs, bringing subtle color to the wardrobe.
Women’s Plus Plaid Shorts
Made from cotton and spandex material, this shorts is featured with a button tab waist and its button is hidden inside for the closure. The fit is relaxed and the sides are vented, thus it’s very comfortable to wear.
This shorts is perfect with plum or dark chocolate shirts.
M.S.S.P. Plaid Shorts
This shorts comes from the Cypress Fields Collection and involves cool indigo and olive colors, which is the color of the season. The shorts is designed with topstitching, belt loops and wide zippers. Its materials is cotton, delivering utmost comfort.

Classic hairstyles become the trendiest for Fall 2010, as a bevy of chignons and buns are going to be what’s hot for that season. The bun is an elegant hairstyle that is usually worn for formal affairs but for Fall season, it’s going to get a more casual style. Strands of hair can loosened from the bun should look really relaxed, especially when one is wearing jeans.
Retro haircuts and styles are also going to be very fashionable. The wavy, curly, Farah Fawcett hair is back, which should look great for everyday wear. Ponytails which are largely a summer hair style is still going to be pretty popular for Fall and Winter as the look brings a neat and clean style.

Fall fashion once again brings new picks for make-ups. This year, the runways showcased some amazing looks and colors that we will sure see celebrities and lots of women will be wearing to adorn their faces and look even prettier.
For one thing, eyeliners return. This time around they are deeper and darker. They are not exactly obvious but you can blend these eyeliners for a more even and cleaner look. Deep colors also accent the eyes using darker shades of eyeshadow. Everything is put together with proper blending. A dab or two of gold eye shadow should also make a mark this fall season.
Red lips is back. Put back the glam and style of the 60’s with really plum looking shades. Keep your pinks and corals for a later season. Nude lips are also making a comeback, and this lip color goes really well together with a bronze eyeshadow or green shade.
